The centre is open to the public on weekends only, across two three-hour slots. Every ticket is valid for one slot, and school groups should not book through the public ticket page — email info@curiouscity.org instead to arrange a weekday visit.
- Morning slot: 10am – 1pm · Afternoon slot: 2pm – 5pm
- Online price: ₹450 per person (incl. 18% GST) · walk-in: ₹500
- Walk-ins are welcome but entry isn't guaranteed — booking ahead is the safer bet
- Tickets aren't refunded, but can be moved to a later date if you let the team know in advance
Visitor guide
Three hours isn't quite enough to see all 2 acres of the campus, so the house advice is to pick your interests rather than try to "cover" everything. Arrive on the earlier side of your slot — by 10:30am or 2:30pm at the latest — since a few zones fill up fast.
- Escape Rooms run first-come-first-served with limited capacity — no guaranteed entry
- Want to see it all? Book both the morning and afternoon slots on the same day
- The centre closes for a lunch break between 1pm–2pm; you can't stay inside during that window
- The café stays open 10am–6pm for snacks and meals, even between visiting slots
Floor map
The campus splits roughly into two halves by age group, plus the outdoor spaces that suit everyone.
- For older explorers (8+): the Science Labs for advanced experiments and engineering challenges, and the Dark Room for light, sound and perception puzzles
- For younger explorers (7 and under): the Science Play Area, the climbing structures of the Tyre Park, and the gentle Animal Park — all supervised
- Outdoors, for everyone: an 80,000 sq. ft. green campus with nature trails, the Butterfly Park and discovery installations
Activities
Over 300 hands-on exhibits across science, nature and a fair amount of mischief.
- Science Exploration Spaces — experiments and demos across physics, chemistry and biology, designed with experts from IIT, IISc and Cornell
- Illusions & Dark Rooms — mirror illusions, the shape-shifting Ames Room, and other tricks your eyes will lose to
- Escape Rooms — solve "The Poisoned Fruit Chemistry Mystery" or break out of the Mirror Maze using real science clues
- Animal Zone — guided encounters with turtles, guinea pigs, rabbits and the resident iguana
- Butterfly Park — 50+ species, with guided nature walks for members
- Outdoor Discovery Space — nature scavenger hunts, sensory trails and models of water harvesting, composting and waste segregation
Important information
A few house rules that keep the visit safe and pleasant for everyone.
- Parents and guardians are responsible for their own safety and their children's — including belongings — throughout the visit
- Staff instructions should be followed at all times; the centre may ask disruptive or unsafe visitors to leave without a refund
- Outside food isn't permitted inside the main building or auditorium — the café is the place for that
- Everyone needs to vacate the premises at the lunch closure (1–2pm) and at the end of the day
Accessibility
The centre is built to be usable by guests of every age and ability, with a step-free entrance and accessible pathways throughout.
- Ramp and elevator access to all exhibit levels, plus wheelchair-accessible restrooms on each floor
- Loaner wheelchairs available at the Welcome Desk, subject to availability — personal mobility aids and strollers are welcome anywhere
- Quiet zones and sensory-friendly hours on select days, with sensory kits (ear defenders, visual aids, fidgets) at the Welcome Desk
- Accessible parking near the main entrance, and staff trained to support accessible participation for individuals and groups
Parking
Free, open parking is available within the campus, including EV charging on request. Space for four-wheelers is somewhat limited on busy weekends, so arriving close to the start of your slot improves your odds of a spot near the entrance.

CuriouScity hosts birthday parties for children aged 5–15, built around science treasure hunts and a personalised tour rather than the usual bounce-castle formula.

How long should I allow for a visit?
Typical visits run 2½ to 3 hours. Arrive early in your chosen slot to make the most of it.
What's the recommended age group?
The Kids Zone suits ages 3–7, the Dark and Illusions Rooms suit ages 3–99, and the Science Labs and Escape Rooms are best for age 8 and up. The outdoor nature spaces work for every age, and school programs focus on grades 3–10.
Can parents accompany their children?
Yes — parents, grandparents and all adults are welcome inside, with staff-guided zones that keep everyone engaged, from school kids to grandparents.
Is parking available?
Yes, free open parking within the campus, though space for four-wheelers is limited. Arriving early improves your chances of a spot.
Is food allowed or available?
A pantry/café offers light snacks and tea/coffee, and the Curio Café is now open for full meals. Outside food isn't permitted, unless there's a medical condition — just let staff know.
