Internships

We are looking for high energy volunteers / interns to engage with weekend visitors to the Curiouscity Discovery Centre and help create an exciting, science learning experience for them.

VOLUNTEER / INTERN PROFILE

  1. Have an interest in science and / or education
  2. Studied science until at least Class 12. A graduate degree in Science is desirable.
  3. Good communication skills in English (Kannada would be a huge bonus)
  4. Enjoy both teaching, learning and working with children.
  5. Be enthusiastic, energetic and committed
  6. Anyone from age 16+ can apply.
  7. We welcome senior school students, college students, working professionals, engineers, home makers and others as long as they are committed and have the right skills / attitude

VOLUNTEERING OPTIONS

Full Day Weekend Volunteers

  1. Working days will be Saturday, Sunday or public holidays
  2. Must be physically present at the centre from 9 am to 6 pm.
  3. Commit to volunteer for a mutually agreed upon number of days and/or specific dates.

Half Day Weekend Volunteers

  1. Working days will be Saturday, Sunday or public holidays
  2. Must be physically present at the centre from 9 am till 1 pm or 2 pm till 6 pm
  3. No lunch will be provided
  4. Only School volunteer are permitted
